Nobody is discussing the fact that DTV is imperfect. The signal is easily lost, and unlike analog, the signal completely cuts out to nothing, not the snowy image we recieve when with old analog. Snowy but still visable is better than needing 100% signal strength.

I have not seen one news outlet or commercial addressing this situation.

As usual the poor, or people who do not care to have subscription services like cable/satelite will be out in the cold.
