UB Football Bowl Game

In our story on the UB Bulls "Bowl Game or Bust" rallying cry, you'll hear me reference the last time the Bulls had a bowl game "invitation." That's because they were invited, but did not play in the 1958 Tangerine Bowl. The school turned down the invitation because the Bowl did not allow black players to compete. So if this year's Turner Gill Bulls make it to one of the 3 MidAmerican Conference bowl games, it will be the first in schoool history.
