2 Bills Get Big Bonuses

Two Bills players were among the NFL's top 25 in performance-based pay bonuses. Linebacker John DiGiorgia received $273, 420, the 7th highest total of any player. Offensive guard Brad Butler's $252, 729 was the 16th best bonus total.
The system rewards players who's playing time exceeds their salary. Its done on a formula devised by the league and the players union. Offensive lineman Willie Colon of the Steelers had the top figure, $309, 534.
