NBC coverage horrible!!!
NBC intermission was an absolute Joke
We just had to listen to Costas and Milbury talk about the movie Slapshot and Costas rambling about his days in Syracuse. Are you kidding me, that's how you showcase the NHL to the country.
Buffalo is the home of the top pick in the NHL draft or a feature on Lindy who grew up playing on an outdoor rink....or a dozen other stories they could do...

for a true hockey broadcast.. watch cbc... much better
I completely agree - I had CBC on for the whole game, knowing that I would get a more hockey-based broadcast, instead of the more "carnival-type" event that NBC appeared to be promoting. I did have NBC in the corner of the screen on my picture-in-picture screen, but very rarely swapped out. Plus, if given the chance to listen to Ron McLean and Don Cherry, I would pick them over Bob Costas any day.
