Bills Hire Offensive Assistant

The Bills hired Nathaniel Hackett to be their offensive quality control coach. He fills the position left open by Alex Van Pelt's promotion to quarterbacks coach.
Hackett comes from Tampa Bay, where he held the same position for the last two years. While in Tampa, he coached under his father, Bucs QB Coach Paul Hackett.
Paul Hackett is just one of Nathaniel's two connections to the Bills. Paul Hackett was Van Pelt's college coach at Pittsburgh. Before going to Tampa, Nathaniel coached at Stanford, where the quarterback was Trent Edwards.

i think hackett will fit in nicely for the bills. the time he has spent with guys like van pelt will help make stronger relations with the team and they will be able to help each other. the bills really need a great coach that can lead them and get them ready for any football team. i strongly believe they could beat ANY football team in the NFL. they had a lead even over the patriots at one point, if i recall. they just need to know they can win, and they will. a lot more. they, right now, are just an average team and usually come out around .500 every season. they just need those extra couple of wins each season, along with some hard work, and we could see the bills in the playoff picture more.
